Forgetfulness

Sorry it has been awhile since my last post. There is a lot to tell you, I just don't know where to begin .... I guess I'll start with... This past week has been different to say the least. The shakiness and forgetfulness has started. A week ago Sunday he thought it was 2011 and he had to go plow snow that wasn't there with a truck and plow we don't have. After an hour of trying to convince him other wise he got dressed and went outside and saw for him self that there was no snow or plow. The next day he didn't remember any thing. He forgot why our daughter was staying with us. Then a few days later I had to tell him that a friend was going to stop by for a visit. Nothing wrong with that right? I had to remind him 5 times in one hour about our friend stopping by. And it has been like that for the rest of the week. For those he writes and chats with on the net.... please don't think he is ignoring you.... he has been having trouble with his computer. I thing it as something to do with his forgetfulness but, I won't be sure until I can check it out. Well, speaking of checking ... I have to go for now and check on him. Hope this finds all of you well. I'll try to write some more in a day or two. Love to all Pat

    Pat, I read your last note and my eyes fill with tears, I can only imagine the struggle and pain you are experiencing. Yes, I have had loved ones, very very close loved ones, that have lost the battle, and everyones pain is different, but not the loss of a spouse. I send you a hug, a shoulder to cry on, and an ear to listen, but no, I will not be able to really understand your innermost feelings. Know that you are not alone.

    Pat, I read your note and my eyes filled with tears, please just know that I am hear for you to vent, or cry , or whatever. I'll write more later.
