Day 13: Peace in the Midst of Pain Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward me.  Luke 2:14 The angel’s Advent message to the shepherds ended with the promise of peace. But where is that promised peace? Reports of wars and atrocities fill the daily news. Jesus told his followers that the Kingdom of God was within them—and so was the peace they could claim through him. Peace is not the absence of pain and conflict in our world; it’s the presence of Christ in our lives. This Christmas, may you truly find peace on earth. Join us in prayer.
