Hi everyone, just a little note to let all of you know what has been going on lately. With in the last couple of weeks Bill has taken a turn for the worst. His nurse has stopped by several times to check on him. John (Bill’s nurse) feels that it is not much longer now. John said that Bills blood pressure and pulse would first get faster and faster. Then it will start to drop and drop quickly. I just checked it and it was 117/69 with a pulse of 107. For Bill, that is like running a marathon. I hope he does not have a heart attack because he has had so much pain already that the last thing he needs is more pain. It breaks my heart to see him in so much pain and discomfort. I cannot even move his head anymore because of the pain. If I could make only one wish, it would be that his suffering would stop. Do not get me wrong I cannot, and do not want, to let him go. I just wish the pain were gone. It does however make me smile when I think of him and his daughter making amends with each other. Since they started to talk and make mends with each other. They have had the chance to talk, joke, and laugh with each other in the last month or so. Just like old times…. how wonderful for him/them. So much so that he is happy and proud to be a grandfather to his granddaughter Caliann.
