A new journey
Yesterday was Bill’s birthday. He would have been 51. We tried to celebrate it but it was difficult because it has only been one week since my love has passed away. People ask, “how are you doing?” Right now, I’m fine. I find it hard to keep myself busy enough fill my day. It’s not that I don’t have things to do because there are lots to do and that needs to be done. However, since I’m not sleeping well I find that I don’t have much energy for things. So, right now, this moment in time, “I’m doing fine. “ As I sit and think of Bill, I can’t help but think of something my stepdaughter Kama said and that was… “is the end of my fathers journey.” Last Saturday was the end of his journey, his journey on this side that is. And, as a truck driver, a person who loved to travel I am sure he would see his memorial, this Saturday, Nov. 14th 2009, the beginning of a new journey, a different kind of journey, a better journey. Rest in peace my love. Have a safe and wonderful new journey. Drop me a line sometime.
