Day 29: God Wants You To Be a Wise Guy (or Gal) After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem.  Matthew 2:1 The Magi were truly wise men. They studied the heavens and recognized the sign of the Messiah’s birth. They searched until they found him, though that journey took them from Jerusalem to lowly Bethlehem. Then, they were responsive to God’s message and returned to their own country without informing Herod. Persistence, diligence, patience, sensitivity to God’s leading—let us all strive to be like those wise men! Join us in prayer.
